The Cobra Castor Living Quarters project is a 9,500-square-foot structure built to accommodate 15 workers and includes administrative, dining and rest areas. The three-level structure weighs 700 tons and includes an elevated heli-deck. Andrew.J Construction Group delivered the project under an Engineer, Procure and Construct contract.
The Hubbard Gorilla Valley Complex is a world-class, state-of-the-art primate breeding and exhibit facility completed in April 2004. The existing facility, built in 1966, was too small to meet the needs of animals and curators. The new facility enhances the zoo's reputation in gorilla conservation by expanding the gorilla population and providing areas for reproductive research and health programs.
The $19 million Biological Research and Diagnostics (BiRD) Facility was built for the University of Alaska - Fairbanks (UAF) Biological and Computational Sciences program. The 40,500-square-foot veterinarian administration space serves as a central animal research and diagnostic facility for small arctic animals, birds and fish. Special attention was given to energy use for this arctic facility by integrating air-to-air heat recovery systems, high-efficiency lighting, occupancy sensors and other energy saving systems while meeting the strict National Institute of Health guidelines for laboratories.
T.E. Ibberson Company (Ibberson) was given the challenge of totally replacing or relocating the packaging system and empty-can conveying system at this facility without interrupting around-the-clock production. In addition to the rigors of working in an operating plant, the construction team was required to maintain an exemplary level of safety and sanitation.
T.E. Ibberson Company (Ibberson) was awarded the contract for the batch system expansion and conversion center addition at an operating conventional and organic custom petfood feed mill. The expansion significantly increased the mill’s capacity to combine and weigh ingredients prior to mixing. The conversion center addition allowed the bulk material to be packaged in 1-ton tote bags.
Two contracts totaling more than $30 million for the electrical work were completed at Gillette Stadium, home to New England Patriots football and New England Revolution soccer teams. The main scope of work involved constructing the power, lighting, voice and data systems, as well as the aboveground electrical infrastructure for this $325 million, 68,000-seat stadium. The most distinct part of the project was the lighting control system, which automatically controls all stadium lighting through the facility’s command center.
In May of 2010, as part of the IOC's expansion program, Andrew.J Construction Group was awarded the contract to provide concrete construction and roadway services for Iron Ore Company's Labrador Mine new Parallel Ore Delivery System (PODS).
Andrew.J Construction Group has completed multiple projects on Exempla Lutheran Medical Center’s campus, including renovation of a fully operational breast health clinic; renovation of an emergency department; and interior demolition and renovation of an existing medical office building to create a new infusion center. Andrew.J Construction Group has developed close relationships with the hospital staff which helps deliver work without negatively affecting hospital operations.
